Heatmap

The module is used to determine the popularity of different areas (counters, storefronts) in the store, identify preferred movement routes, and analyze visit statistics for different locations. It allows you to assess movement activity and identify the main pedestrian flow patterns.

Functional Features and Advantages

  • Overlaying a map on the video stream showing, in real time and in color, the locations where movement was detected during the last 10 seconds.
  • Overlaying a motion heat map on the site plan.
  • Creation of reports on activity and traffic intensity in the controlled area for a given time interval.
  • The ability to set the time interval, the camera, the degree of transparency of the map, select the days of the week and the daily time interval.
  • The ability to select an area on the map and obtain information about the intensity level indicated by warm colors in that area.
  • Exporting reports in JPG format.
  • The ability to combine control zones into a system and create summary reports.
  • Identifying high-traffic and low-traffic zones allows you to optimize and effectively use commercial and office space.
  • The analysis of the places and times of the greatest activity helps to plan and conduct promotions, place advertising stands with the greatest impact.
  • Evaluating the popularity of storefronts, stands, shelves allows you to monitor product placement and shelf stocking, plan the volume of purchases, etc.
  • The optimal distribution of staff in different areas of the trading floor, depending on their popularity in a particular period.

Typical Solutions

SECURITY SERVICES Color highlighting of movement areas. The intensity of the color spectrum and its tone inform the security service operator about any moving object in the video stream. Over time, the color trail of a moving object fades and takes on a colder hue. The imposition of a heat map of movement on the plan of the object makes it possible to strengthen control in strategically important areas where movement is strictly limited (safe rooms, cash registers, etc.). Analysis of heatmap motion data allows you to optimize the location and direction of view of cameras, motion sensors, etc. taking into account the attendance of the zones of the controlled object.
